Welcome to my Halloween Sensory Play Party!
(I missed the last week with so many things going on around here, but I am ready for this weeks and will make sure to feature all your posts in some way during the week and here next week!) Hope you have lots of great ideas for Halloween. Here's one of ours!Pin It
We continued the water bead fun today with a creepy crawly spider and eyeball theme!
I simply repurposed our already made red water beads into a fun new sensory play bin. This time I added a dollar store package of eyeballs and glow in the dark spiders (not quite enough glow for my camera). I also had some random pieces of pvc pipe from a failed magnetic marble run project (haven't written that off yet though!). Combine it all, play and squish. We hid spiders and eyeballs and stacked them on the pipe pieces!
I had also put out a tall glass vase to see what he would do. Of course he filled it and dumped it! Again and again using tongs, scoops and his hands. Water beads were bouncing everywhere, but how cool do the water beads and eyeballs look in the vase?
He even came up with his own idea for the pvc pipe and used it as a scoop. I am always excited when he takes play and makes it his own! Water beads are so much fun. We will be using these for a few more fun projects.
Time for the sensory party!
Hooray it's Wednesday and time for another Sensory Play Party! I love seeing all of your creative ideas for sensory play or sensory bins. There are so many options out there for this type of play. I hope we can inspire one another to try ideas we wouldn't have thought of on our own! Now on to the sensory play fun! (It's ok to leave just the post too!)
Here are the guidelines!
