Building Hearts Activities for Engineering Play and Learn!

Building hearts for Valentine’s Day is a fun alternative to crafts! My little guy isn’t much into crafting, but he loves building! We did make one quick and easy, candy free Valentine card to hand out to his friends, but he loves our Valentine’s slime and Legos more! So if you don’t have kiddos interested in crafts, try some of these unique building hearts ideas.

Building Hearts Activities for Kids

All of these building hearts activities use simple materials you may already have or can easily pick up at the grocery store and hardware store.  These building hearts activities are wonderful alternative Valentine’s Day projects that encourage engineering, designing, and creativity! Our building heart activities are the first four in the list. The last four building hearts activities are from terrific bloggers I love to share ideas with year round.
