HOW TO MAKE A CHRISTMAS JOKES ADVENT CALENDAR

Get creative, you can work this Christmas jokes countdown two ways…

OPTION #1: Cut out all the joke strips (printable or handwritten) and add them to a stocking or Christmas gift bag. Each day, reach in and pull one out to add to the chain.

OPTION #2: Cut out all the joke strips and make a full chain so that you start with the full amount and remove a link each day!

MAKE YOUR PAPER CHAIN!

STEP 1. Cut strips of paper or cut out the printable strips. You can also print on red and/or green paper if you don’t want to color them! Additionally, you can use Christmas-themed scrapbook paper that is white on one side. You can glue in the joke printable strip or handwrite it!

—> You need 25 total of whatever colors you choose. I chose to alternate green and red paper for the handwritten version below.

STEP 2. Write out your Christmas joke on one side of the strip of paper. Make sure to put the chain together with the jokes on the inside of the paper chain!

STEP 3. Secure each paper chain with a piece of tape or use a stapler.

TIP: You could also put your kid’s Christmas jokes into a jar and pull out a new one each day. I made our 25 days of kids’ Christmas jokes into a pair chain to hang for decoration too. Each day we will remove a link from the bottom until there is only one left for Christmas day!
