There are quite a few fun ideas you can do with a simple package of balloons. Have you tried making squeezable sensory or texture balls? How about balloon tennis! Also very popular with my kiddo. Or you could do a classic balloon and baking soda experiment or make a LEGO balloon car! See we love balloons for so much more than parties.
STEP 1: Blow up the balloon and hold for a few seconds to stretch it out a bit.
STEP 2: Pull open balloon enough for someone to stick a small plastic pokemon figure into it. If you are really skilled you can do it all yourself!
STEP 3: Fill like a water balloon {this is not a water balloon though}. Fill to your liking. A little less water keeps the egg shape better. We ended up with a few big eggs and not the 10k kind!
STEP 4: Put on a plate and freeze.
STEP 5: Remove from freezer, cut off knot and peel off balloon!

TIME TO HATCH POKEMON EGGS!
Look at that excited face! It was the first thing he wanted to do when he got home from camp the other day. Even before a snack which is saying a lot. Once you have removed the balloons from the icy pokemon eggs, put them in some type of container that can handle the amount of melting water you will soon have!
Add a bowl of warm water, basters, squirt bottles, ladles, measuring cups, and any other ice melting tools you want available for your kids to hatch pokemon eggs! Melt and free your favorite Pokemon!

You will have to refill the warm water often, but it’s so worth it! A good ice melt can keep my son busy for awhile. When he’s finished, he usually does some of his own play with the water and whatever he has melted. In this case, there may have been some Pokemon battles happening afterward.
I AM STILL WAITING TO CATCH A CHARMANDER IN POKEMON GO!
