I made a variety of colors to go along with your LEGO ten frame grid math game! Make sure to print out two copies of which ever colors you will be using! Cut along the lines and then cut in between the pairs of minifigures. You may want to trim off any extra white space.

LEGO TEN FRAME GRID ACTIVITY IDEAS
Note that you can cut the ten frame grid in half to start with a five frame.
Practice one to one correspondence counting to 10
Practice different ways to make the number 10
Practice developing numeracy skills with both the 10 frame and the 5 frame and recognizing arrangements of numbers for quick identification, addition and subtraction
Practice writing number sentences. Fill in the grid with different numbers of two colors. Have your kids write out the number sentence based on the colors. If I fill in the grid with 4 blue and 6 orange, kids would write out 4 + 6 = 10. You can even use LEGO bricks!
Simple and fun but a great way to practice early math skills and numeracy skills with a playful twist. We love LEGO and LEGO is perfect for math time.
