1. Glitter Glue Slime

We have a new version of our liquid starch slime recipe that works really well with the specialty Elmer’s glues like the glitter glues, color glues, and glow in the dark glues. Check out the full recipe for more details.

2. Liquid Starch Slime

Liquid starch slime has been our go-to slime recipe for several years now, and it’s super simple! Check out the full recipe for more details.

3. Fluffy Slime

Fluffy slime uses an extra special ingredient to achieve maximum fluffiness. Can you guess what it is? Shaving cream! Use our saline solution slime recipe as a base. Check out the full recipe for more details.

4. Saline Solution Slime

A wonderfully stretchy slime that’s made with a newer recipe. Although it’s still not borax free like many people assume. I do love how easy it is to make though. Check out the full recipe here.

5. Borax Slime

Borax slime is a traditional, classic slime recipe that has been made for years. I like it for when I need to make a truly clear slime to showcase a favorite confetti like this snowflake slime recipe we just made. Check out the full recipe here.

Why Doesn’t My Slime Work?

The biggest reason for slime fails is not reading through the recipe! People contact me all the time with: “Why didn’t this work?”

Most of the time the answer has been lack of attention to supplies needed, reading the recipe, and actually measuring the ingredients! So give it a try and do let me know if you need some help. On a very rare occasion, I have gotten an old batch of glue, and there is no fixing that!

Everything you need to know about making slime is below! Did you know we also have fun with science activities too?

How To Store Slime

Slime lasts quite a while! I get a lot of questions regarding how I store my slime. We use reusable containers in either plastic or glass. Make sure to keep your slime clean, and it will last for several weeks.

If you want to send kids home with slime from a camp, party, or classroom project, I suggest reusable containers from the dollar store, grocery store, or even Amazon. For large groups, we have used condiment containers and labels, as seen here.
