A teal pumpkin might be an odd color to see at Halloween, but to many parents the teal pumpkin brings peace of mind. This peace of mind comes in the form of non candy Halloween treats.  All kids will be able to enjoy the spirit of the holiday  even if they have certain food allergies. Imagine your kid, dressed in his or her favorite costume, ready to go trick or treating and each house you stop at only has candy he or she can not eat due to allergies. Let’s help out our neighbors and community and choose to put out a teal pumpkin this Halloween with a basket of candy free Halloween treats for everyone.
NON CANDY HALLOWEEN TREATS & A TEAL PUMPKIN
This is a sponsored post. I was sent a wonderful assortment of non candy goodies from Oriental Trading, and I am so excited to share them with you. All of my opinions expressed below are my own, and I only want to bring the best to you and your kids. Also read more about THE TEAL PUMPKIN PROJECT!
OUR TEAL PUMPKIN TREATS
This year I have partnered with Oriental Trading to bring you an awesome list of fun non candy treats that all the kids will love. I would love to see more houses offering non candy treats with a teal pumpkin this year for many reasons.  Our friends with allergies have been so thankful that we choose to put out a teal pumpkin. This year I packed the awesome goodies sent to us from Oriental Trading in two different ways to give you some great ideas.
FUN NON CANDY HALLOWEEN TREATS
Below you will see a variety of awesome non candy treats from Oriental Trading Halloween Headquarters. Click on the links in orange to read more about each one or to find more cool Halloween goodies to hand out this year. My son was in awe when the box arrived! I chose many school friendly items and a few fun items too. We love to make homemade slime here, so I had to hand out mini slimes or Witch’s Potions. We also love STEM {science, technology, engineering, and math} so we added in those little paratroopers!
Our table was spread out like an assembly line!
We have so many fun goodies to share for Halloween to go along with our Teal Pumpkin. Click on the links below.
FUN STUFF
Witch’s Potion {this slimes stuff is definitely cool to play with}
Monster Bendables {my son loves the pink one with 4 arms}
Mini Halloween Paratroopers {they work awesomely}
Glow In The Dark Bouncing Balls
SCHOOL THEMED STUFF
Whoa that’s a lot of good stuff to stuff my treat bags with this Halloween! I chose to use the non candy Halloween treats in 2 ways. I used clear treat bags and stuffed 24 of them with each of the items. I then filled my treat bucket with the rest. Using these large plastic party cups was a great way to separate and display the Halloween goodies for the kids to see.
I hope you will consider putting out a Teal Pumpkin this Halloween and checking out these cool Halloween goodies to fill your trick or treat bucket with too. Have a happy and safe Halloween with your kids and family.
[…] So you’ve got Skittles, candy bars, M&Ms, candy corn, Peeps, lollipops, and so much more in a big plastic bucket, don’t you? I bet you are looking at it going whoa, that’s a whole lot of candy. Particularly, a whole lot of candy you don’t want the kids to eat. Believe me when I say we eat our share but we also enjoy some Halloween candy science activities and STEM projects too. This year we put out Teal Pumpkin treats. […]
