Who Is Andy Warhol?

Famous American artist Andy Warhol was part of the pop art movement. He was born Andrew Warhol in 1928 in Pennsylvania and he had a very particular personal style.

He had crazy white hair, wore a lot of black leather and sunglasses, and liked to experiment with his personal style. Andy wanted to be rich and famous.

Warhol liked to use bright colors and silk-screening techniques in his artwork. He is considered one of the founders of the Pop Art movement. The art of this time was based on popular culture in America.

How to Make Popsicle Art

Thinking of a lovely cold ice cream? Why not make a homemade slushie! Or try our famous artist-inspired Ice Cream Art, and make ice cream in a bag for a cold treat!

Supplies:

  • Templates
  • Colored paper
  • Patterned paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Craft sticks

Instructions:

STEP 1: Print the templates.

What Is Pop Art?
