DIYÂ Easter Egg Games for Kids This Easter!
We have an over abundance of these lovely eggs in the house this year! Our Easter egg games for math and memory are perfect early learning games for toddlers through Kindergarten! Switch out the goodies to make a variety of Easter egg games this holiday. Make learning fun and playful with these DIY Easter egg games for home or school!
Here are three of these fun Easter egg games to try right now!Â
Memory Easter Egg Game Set Up
The dollar store can be a fun place to stock up on different items to make simple activities. I used a couple packages of erasers and easter eggs to fill this fun styrofoam egg tray left over from our real eggs! I have robots erasers, easter erasers and flowers and butterflies erasers. 2 levels of play! Easy: Match any two butterflies, flowers or robots! Hard: Match specific flower, robot and butterflies to one another! The harder lever definitely takes greater concentration!
We also practiced fine motor skills with a simple pair of tongs! Just opening and closing eggs is good hand work too!
More or Less Easter Egg Game & Counting Easter Egg Game
For these Easter egg games I used a package of mini insects erasers.  We played two versions on two different days! The first game is called More or Less. We each chose an egg and counted the erasers inside. Who had more? Winner takes both eggs! The second version is a Counting Game. We each chose two eggs, counted the individual eggs and then added the eggs together.  We continued until all the eggs were chosen!

I love these ideas, especially the memory game! We play with these plastic eggs all year so it’s good to have some new things to do with them!

Great features this week! It reminded me of our plastic egg play and learning ideas, so I linked it up. Coming back again soon to pin and share other activities linked up. Thanks for hosting.

Thanks for featuring our eggs and buttons activity. 🙂

So many great ways to play and learn! We’ve been working on an activity similar to your egg counting and adding one, (but a more simplified version since my daughter’s only two). But now I have many more ideas to try out! Thanks for the inspiration.

Great! Yes, I think with a little creativity you can easily change the levels for fun and learning without frustration!
