Are you excited for summer’s arrival? We sure are! School’s out, but that doesn’t mean the opportunities to learn have to stop. I am excited to share with you fun weekly summer science camp experiments and activities to keep you busy all summer long. These science camp ideas will go week by week, featuring a different theme! Make science during the summer cool!
SUMMER SCIENCE CAMP EXPERIMENTS & THEMES
SUMMER SCIENCE CAMP IS GREAT FUN FOR KIDS!
Your summer routine doesn’t have to be as scheduled as our resource! We are simply providing you a framework for the summer. Choose when you want to participate, try one or two activities from each week or try them all, or move weeks around.
Our science camp activities have an age range of 3-8 years old give or take. This depends on abilities, interests, and the amount of adult supervision available. The older age range will be able to do more independently while the younger age range will need more adult help. Both ranges will enjoy the ideas!

Please click the links in green below to see the week set up for you with the appropriate themed STEM challenges or science activities. We have including our favorite, LEGO!
You will also find physical sciences, chemistry, messy science, edible science, natural sciences, engineering structures, simple machines, things that go, natural sciences, technology, independence day STEM ideas, and even shark week!
Subscribe for weekly reminders! Each week will include at least 5-7 activities that you can easily do at home or in a camp/classroom setting with inexpensive supplies. I may also include book ideas or Youtube videos that will complement the week’s theme.
10 LEGO challenges to get the creative juices flowing with your own LEGO collection. Try one or try them all, but you will find tons of new ways to play, build, and learn with LEGO.
Check out how substances change, interact, and combine. Explore the processes, through science activities, that causes these changes. It’s pretty cool what you can do with chemistry.
THEME: WATER SCIENCE
What sinks? What floats? How does ice melt? Can you make a sugar water rainbow? Can you make a syphon? Water is an incredibly versatile science supply. We also have some fun “science magic”. The best of all, it’s frugal.

Cars, planes, boats, rockets, you name it! We will give you a bunch of great ideas for building, experimenting, and testing a variety of things that go!
