Sensory Bin Puzzle Play
Fine Motor Skills & Sensory Play Together!
Yay, for puzzle pieces in a jumble! I took a bunch of our wooden puzzles and emptied them into the rice bin and buried the pieces. You could easily do this for several ages at once with different types of puzzle piece sizes. Jumbo knobs, chunky pieces, pegs, or even jig saw pieces are a great mix and each child can find their own or work together to help each other out. I gave him a scoop too. Good for a rainy day!
Multiple kids? Give them each a puzzle to find or work together!
Spread out! We enjoy turning things into gross motor play too!
Makes for a great hands on I Spy!
Puzzles are great fine motor skills practice!
We spread the boards out on the floor and played a sort of I Spy game with them. definitely a busy work activity and because of the digging and moving, the idea that he was actually doing puzzles escaped him!
