Baking Soda And Vinegar Rainbow Easter Eggs

Of course, Easter has to have a baking soda and vinegar reaction like these fizzy rainbow Easter eggs!

Get ready to add this simple Easter baking soda science activity to your Easter theme lesson plans this season! You will need: – Plastic eggs – Egg tray – Eyedropper, squeeze bottle, or meat baster – Baking soda – Vinegar – Food coloring

STEP 1:  Set up a tray with an egg carton (clear plastic or styrofoam will work best) and set up your eggs.

STEP 2: Add several drops of food coloring to each egg. You can also color separate containers of vinegar and let the kids mix and match colors.

STEP 3: Now, go ahead and fill each egg with a spoonful of baking soda! You can add a pinch of glitter on top if desired!
