Easter Textures For Tactile Sensory Play

Texture eggs make wonderful tactile sensory play {especially for children who are hesitant to touch different textures}!

We picked up our supplies at the dollar store and I found some of the fillers around the house. A funnel and a small measuring spoon came in handy.

These textured Easter eggs are simple to make and are a great Easter egg filler idea for toddlers and preschoolers.

EGG FILLER IDEAS: Flour, Cornstarch, Baking Soda, Rice, Polyfil pellets, Sand

It’s fun to guess what the filler is inside the egg.  Make pairs of eggs, and you have a sensory matching game too!

Put them out for everyone to enjoy! We leave texture balloons out for quick sensory breaks! Surprise your kids with a set of these eggs.
