HOW TO MAKE SLIME If you’ve been trying to figure out how to make slime and how to make slime easily with your kids, then you have come to the right place!

WHAT’S THE BEST GLUE FOR MAKING SLIME? I am surprised there isn’t a black market for Elmer’s washable school glue (or maybe there is)! If you want to make the best slime, Elmer’s glue is our go-to glue for slime making.

Liquid Starch Slime Recipe You will need: 1/2 cup of Elmer’s Washable School Glue 1/2 Cup of Water 1/4 -1/2 Cup of Liquid Starch Food coloring and glitter optional!

HOW TO MAKE SLIME WITH LIQUID STARCH STEP 1:  In a bowl add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup glue and mix well to combine completely.

STEP 2: Now’s the time to add color, glitter, or confetti! Remember when you add color to white glue, the color will be lighter. Use clear glue for jewel-toned colors!

STEP 3: Pour in 1/4 cup of liquid starch and stir well. You will see the slime immediately start to form and pull away from the sides of the bowl. Keep stirring until you have a gooey blob of slime. The liquid should be gone!

SLIME MAKING TIP:   The trick with liquid starch slime is to put a few drops of the liquid starch onto your hands before picking up the slime. However, keep in mind that although adding more liquid starch reduces the stickiness, and it will eventually create a stiffer slime.
