My son loves to hear jokes and tell jokes, so I thought a Christmas jokes countdown calendar would be a simple and fun activity to add to the holiday season that is totally frugal and anyone can make.

To make your Christmas jokes kids love countdown calendar, cut strips of paper. You need 25 total of whatever colors you choose. I chose to alternate green and red paper. Find your Christmas jokes. I really just typed in some Google searches to come up with Christmas jokes for kids.
Many sites all use the same ones. Cathy over at the Nurture Store has a great printable list of Christmas jokes too. I picked jokes my 6 year would actually get, were appropriate, and funny! I looked through a lot of Christmas jokes.

Christmas jokes paper chain countdown calendar for kids!
Write out your Christmas joke on one side of the strip of paper. Make sure to put the chain together with the jokes on the inside of the paper chain! Secure with a piece of tape or use a stapler.
Kids have tons of fun with jokes. I found a variety of Christmas jokes for kids including Santa jokes, elf jokes, and snowman jokes that were age appropriate and quite funny. I tested a couple just to make sure.
25 Christmas jokes for kids makes sure you will be telling silly jokes all season long. Make sure to read the previous ones again too. My son has been memorizing them to tell his friends on the bus!
You could also put your kid’s Christmas jokes into a jar and pull out a new one each day. I made our 25 days of kids Christmas jokes into a pair chain to hang for a decoration too. Each day we will remove a link from the bottom until there is only one left for Christmas day!
