This is the first year my son has taken an interest in the upcoming Shark Week. We were pretty excited to learn more about different species of sharks and try out some fun shark activities for preschoolers and beyond. These shark week activities include shark facts for kids, watching sharks move in their environments, and finding out how they live. This is the perfect resource to combine learning about sharks with more awesome STEM and science activities for preschoolers.
FUN SHARK FACTS AND SHARK WEEK ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS!
IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR: SHARK WEEK!
Let’s take the time to learn more about these amazing ocean creatures. Kids and adults too have always been fascinated by sharks. I am sure some of it has to do with the movie Jaws as well as what we read about attacks.
But, that’s so little about what sharks are really all about. There are many, many different kinds of sharks, and you might even be surprised that the biggest shark of all is often called a gentle giant. Why not find out why!
FUN FACTS ABOUT SHARKS
Included in our Shark Week activities resource, you will find science activities, cool YouTube videos to check out different species, shark math activities, and several printable pages to do your own research and learn all about your favorite shark! You can even build LEGO sharks! How cool is that! Let’s get started with 10 Fun Facts About Sharks.
