No Cook Valentines Playdough Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour
- 1/2 cup of salt
- 1 cup of hot water (possibly a 1/2 cup more)
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar
- food coloring
How To Make No Cook Valentine Playdough
Remember, this playdough is NOT edible, but it is non-toxic!
STEP 1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl, and form a well in the center.
STEP 2. Add the cooking oil and food coloring to the dry ingredients.
STEP 3. Add water and stir to form the playdough! Go ahead and knead your playdough until you reach your desired consistency!
TIP: If the playdough looks a little runny, you might be tempted to add more flour. Before you do this, allow the mixture to rest for a few minutes! That will give the salt a chance to absorb the extra moisture. Feel your playdough before you add any additional flour! You likely won’t need any, but if your dough is sticky, add an additional 1/4 cup of flour at a time.
MORE PLAYDOUGH COLORS: You can also make a giant batch of plain no-bake play dough and then color each one separately for a Valentine’s theme!
Form a lump of playdough into a ball and then make a well in the center of each ball. Squirt in a few drops of food coloring. Close up the well and get to work squishing. This may get a bit messy but can make for a fun color surprise.

Hi,
Have you ever made Dinosaur Eggs with a suprise inside?
I really can not remember the true recipe.
(Used coffee grounds, flour, water, & ?) either baking soda or baking powder.
I found it on Kids Coconotions.com
Mix the coffee grounds, water, flour together. Feels like bisquick dough. Roll into an egg shape.
Poke your thumbs into the center and fill with a dinosaur, necklace, coins, rings, etc.
Bake on a baking sheet at 200 for an hour. Take out and cool.
When it is done, it looks grey color dinosaur egg. I buried mine in our sandbox. Just remember how many and where the location is.
Really fun to do.
thank you
new to this.
I love that he wanted to make the cookies for Santa! Adding glitter to playdough is a cool idea…maybe the play dough would make the glitter easier to contain!
