COLORFUL KANDINSKY TREE ART
KANDINSKY ART
Famous artist, Wassily Kandinsky was born in Moscow, Russia on 16th December 1866. He grew up in the Russian city of Odessa where he enjoyed music and learned to play the piano and the cello. Kandinsky would remark later, that even as a child the colors of nature dazzled him.
Both music and nature would have a big influence on Kandinsky’s art as he grew older. Kandinsky would come to see that painting did not need a particular subject but that shapes and colors themselves could be art. Over the coming years, he would begin to paint what is now known as abstract art. Kandinsky is considered one of the founders of abstract art.
Kandinsky circles are a great example of abstract art. Kandinsky believed the circle had symbolic significance relating to the mysteries of the cosmos, and he often used it as an abstract form in his artwork. Here you can experiment with your own abstract art inspired by Kandinsky.
