This free printable 5 Senses Flip Book is perfect for helping kids explore their senses. Learn to identify and understand how taste, smell, hearing, touch, and vision work together. Itโs a simple, engaging science project for kindergarten through to 2nd grade.

5 Senses Flip Book Activity
Introduce the concept of the five senses to your kids with a short discussion or storybook. See our 5 senses book suggestions here. Then, guide them as they assemble their flip book.
Encourage kids to think about how they use each of their senses throughout the day. Once the flip books are assembled, students can use them as a reference tool or a fun way to explain their knowledge to others.
💡 You can even add the flip book or sorting activity to a science journal!

More Fun 5 Senses Activities
Have students use their flip books by:
- Going on a Senses Scavenger Hunt: Use the flip books to find objects that engage their different senses (e.g., something to taste, something to smell) during a scavenger hunt.
- Five Senses Art Project: After creating the flip book, let students create artwork representing all five senses. They could draw something they can see, touch, hear, smell, and taste!
- Group Discussion: Ask students to share an experience where they used each of their senses. This is an excellent opportunity for them to develop verbal communication skills while reflecting on sensory experiences.
