DIY PAPER CHRISTMAS TREE INSTRUCTION

This Christmas tree paper craft activity is a fantastic way to explore STEAM learning! Kids get hands-on with engineering as they fold and build Christmas trees from paper.

They’ll use math skills to measure and cut shapes, and they can get creative with colors and designs using markers or watercolors. Plus, they’ll learn about different materials and how they work together – just like real engineers!

SUPPLIES:

  • Christmas tree cut-out (see below)
  • Scissors
  • Markers, crayons, or colored pencils
  • Tape

HOW TO MAKE A PAPER CHRISTMAS TREE

STEP 1. Print the Christmas tree template.

STEP 2. Use colored markers or watercolors to decorate your Christmas tree.

STEP 3. Use scissors to cut out the paper tree.

STEP 4. Fold the tabs inwards. Then make a cone out of the tree and tape the tab.

STEP 5. Cut out the star. Attach a piece of tape to the back and fix to the top of the tree.
