How To Make A 3D Christmas Tree
What a fun Christmas card idea for kids to make and give this holiday season! This 3D Christmas tree card, along with the snowman version, makes for a unique twist on classic folded Christmas cards.
Supplies:
- Cardstock
- Markers or pencils for coloring in.
- Glue or tape
- Christmas tree template
Instructions:
STEP 1. Download and print out the Christmas tree template above.

STEP 2. Then color in the Christmas trees. You can use a variety of art supplies, and if you go with heavier paper, you can try even more supplies. Don’t be afraid to mix mediums too!

STEP 3. Cut out the Christmas trees.

STEP 4. Cut a slit along the lines on the Christmas tree, as shown below. Do not cut through trees so no distractions!

STEP 5. Glue the trees together. Then slide the Christmas tree pieces onto one another to create your own cool 3D Christmas tree.
TIP: Using thicker paper or cardstock will make for a stronger 3D Christmas tree.

I like how easy it was to make the tree. We’re I live at we are make snowflake and tree for Christmas. Everyone get to take there to their room. Which they all enjoyed to doing. I am tasked with showing them how to make Christmas trees and snowflakes. It was my ideal to do this but at the nursing home there are some that can’t do the complicated ones. So I’m glad I could find some easy ones to do and I like the decorations that are on the tree. I really hope we all have fun doing this thank you for your easy Christmas tree and templates.
