Vincent van Gogh is known for expressive brushstrokes, bold colors, and swirling movement. The Starry Night, painted in 1889, is one of his most recognizable works and shows how artists use motion and color to create mood and energy.

While the original painting is not mixed media, its movement and texture make it a great inspiration for hands-on art projects with kids.
