How big is the Mona Lisa? The Mona Lisa’s dimensions are 77 cm by 53 cm, which makes it a small painting. This was common for Florentine portraits during the Renaissance. However, for such a famous and valuable painting, one would expect that it would be much larger.

Why is the Mona Lisa so famous? Some say it is because of her unique and mysterious smile, which has made it a subject of many interpretations and discussions.

Others say that the Mona Lisa became famous after it was stolen from the Louvre Museum in 1911. But maybe this painting has become so well known because it appeals to many different people. What do you think?
