Thanksgiving Play Ideas

Easy no cook dough for Thanksgiving sensory play! I love no cook play dough for how simple it is to make. Our apple sauce playdough was a real hit! This recipe below is one of my favorites and part of our 12 Awesome Sensory Play Recipes.

Every now and then I love to throw together a brand new play dough recipe for a morning’s sensory play session. We don’t often play with play dough from the store these days.

He loves when I start pulling out fun ingredients from the cupboard and I tell him we are going to invent a new dough to play with today! I think he loves the novelty of creating something brand new!

This is such a pliable, soft and easy Thanksgiving no cook play dough recipe to use for Thanksgiving play. It smells and feels wonderful. The corn and oats add great texture to our Thanksgiving harvest play!

We talked quite a bit about harvest and what foods might be harvested this time of year! Already this season we have watched harvest and farm videos, read books about harvest,  explored Fall’s harvest colors and made harvest sensory bins! We love simple and hands-on farm activities for preschoolers!

This would be a perfect no cook play dough recipe  to throw together for Thanksgiving play or to keep the kids busy while you are cooking and baking! It really is that simple.
