Can you make homemade bath paint? Yes, definitely! Kids bath paints are easy to make yourself or better yet show your kiddos how to mix up this super simple bath paint recipe.

Also great as an easy painting idea for toddlers with easy clean up of their fingerprint art. Plus, we have added super fun colored glow in the dark pigment that will make the night time bathing routine so much easier!

Remember to always supervise your children in and near water!

DIY BATH PAINT

To make all the paint colors pictured, I doubled this bath tub paint recipe.

YOU WILL NEED

  • ½ cup clear dishwashing soap or no-tear baby shampoo
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Glow in the dark pigment powder (pictured: https://amzn.to/2CaeTg4 )

Note:  The pigment powder linked above is safe for using as makeup and therefore can be used as bath paint.

HOW TO MAKE BATH TUB PAINT

STEP 1. In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and liquid soap.

STEP 2. Divide the mixture between different cups.

STEP 3. Carefully stir in the glow in the dark powder.

STEP 4. Charge the paints under daylight bulbs or in sunlight before playing with in the bathtub.
