How To Make A Robot Car

Love this building activity? Why not make a balloon car or a rubber band car!

This simple robot kit is usually around $10 and is very simple to put together. This project takes
about 10-15 minutes even for beginners.

Supplies:

  • Robotics kit (EUDAX 6 Set DC Motors Kit)
  • Small box
  • Straws
  • Glue gun

Instructions:

STEP 1: Get a simple robotics kit. Wheels, axles, motor, battery holder, switch, propeller and
wires. Find a small box to use as your car body. (Optional: paint to look like a car)

STEP 2: Glue straws to the bottom of your box. Some sizing may be needed to fit the box and axles.

STEP 3: Insert the axles into the straws and attach the wheels. Now your box should roll.

STEP 4: Glue your motor to the end of the box and attach the propeller.

STEP 5: Glue down battery holder and switch to the box.

STEP 6: Now attach the red wire from the battery to the switch. Then the black wire from the battery to the propeller. Lastly, connect a black wire from the switch to the propeller.

STEP 7: Now add batteries.
