Chocolate Playdough Recipe
Whether you want to give this homemade playdough a hot chocolate theme for winter or a s’mores theme for summer, it’s fun and easy to make!

Supplies:
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup salt
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons cream of tartar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
How to Make Chocolate Playdough

Step 1: Start by adding the flour, salt, cornstarch, cocoa powder, and cream of tartar to a medium saucepan. Stir the dry ingredients together until well combined.

Step 2: Next, pour in the water and vegetable oil. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir frequently for 4-5 minutes until the mixture forms a dough ball.

Step 3: Once the dough has formed, remove the saucepan from the heat. Place the dough ball on a piece of parchment paper to cool.

Step 4: After the dough has completely cooled, it’s ready for play! To keep it fresh, store the chocolate playdough in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
