How to Use the LEGO Task Cards
Keep these activities simple.
- Choose a Halloween challenge card.
- Gather the bricks you want to use.
- Build the design shown on the card.
- Complete the extra challenge.
- Change the design and try it again.
TIP: Kids do not need the exact brick colors shown. In fact, working with whatever pieces are available encourages more flexible problem-solving.
TIP: You can also remove the timer or competition element for kids who prefer open-ended building.
What Kids Learn With LEGO Challenges
Simple bricks can support plenty of STEM learning without motors, coding, or complicated kits.
As kids work through the Halloween challenges, they practice:
