I like to make candy-free Valentine cards for my son’s class. However, I don’t want to spend a ton of money or time to do this. I also want to be able to give something that is liked by all but also doesn’t contribute to the clutter at home. The answer… make a glow stick Valentine card!

Printable Glow Stick Valentines
Anyone can make these simple glow stick Valentine cards!
Keep It Simple: If I had to spend hours making 20+ Valentine cards, I simply wouldn’t do it. I also don’t want to spend $20+ dollars on supplies. However, I do like to get a bit crafty and make homemade things too.
Supplies:
- Glow sticks.
- Free Valentine Card Printable.
- Hole Puncher
How To Make Your Glow Stick Valentine Card
STEP 1. Print out your light bulb Valentine images. I put four on a page because it was a good size for the glow sticks. Don’t want to use color ink? Print in black and white and use a red marker to fill in the names!
STEP 2. Cut out the shape of the lightbulb {leaving a bit of white along the outside} or cut into squares.
STEP 3. Punch a hole at the top and bottom of the card. Thread a glow stick through the holes. Done!

Didn’t I say these glow stick Valentine cards were quick and easy! Plus once the glow stick is done glowing, parents can toss it rather than have another little trinket to collect in the junk drawer!
Did you know that glow sticks are science too! We definitely love Valentine’s Day science, so these homemade Valentine cards are perfect for us to give.
