Try going candy free this Valentine’s Day! I know that our public schools don’t want us to send candy in to hand out and so much of what you see today comes with some sort of sugary candy attached! Ours definitely don’t and provide a little science activity too.

This is one of my favorites and includes a test tube valentine complete with a printable science experiment, mini coloring sheet, and confetti inside. Kids can make a cool chemical reaction when they get home with simple pantry items.

PRINTABLE VALENTINE CARDS FOR THE YOUNG SCIENTIST OR INVENTOR

All you need to do is download and print out our free printable rocket ship Valentines cards! Add a card and a glider to a small bag or simply tape a card to the outer wrapping of the space shuttle.

You can print these out on card stock to make them more durable. You could also just print one sheet and take it to your local copy store and they can make color copies on heavy weight paper.

I tried to keep the color ink use low, so I don’t run through your printer ink supply or mine!

ADD A LITTLE STEM TO YOUR SPACE THEMED VALENTINE CARDS!

Kids will have a blast {pun intended} with these space shuttle or rocket ship Valentines cards! They can play around with the nose piece placement, add a paper clip, measure how far their shuttle flies, or use it as a model to build their own rocket ship.
