RAINBOW ART WITH TAPE RESIST

YOU WILL NEED

  • 5X7 Canvas print
  • Tape
  • Craft paint (rainbow colors)
  • Scissors
  • Paintbrushes
  • Paint pallet

HOW TO MAKE A RAINBOW PAINTING

STEP 1. Cut the tape into the different lengths for the canvas print. Place pieces of tape onto the canvas into the desired design. Press the tape down with fingers and make sure tape is sticking well so the paint doesn’t go under the tape.

Tip: You can criss-cross the tape, do parallel lines, initials, etc. What fun shapes can you make?

STEP 2. Choose the paint colors for your rainbow art. Learn more about the colors of the rainbow here.

STEP 3. Paint each section of the design with the craft paint.

STEP 4. Set aside and allow to dry completely. Use another coat of paint if desired. Allow it to dry.
