Our Favorite 3D Printer for Kids
We recommend the Bambu Lab P1S 3D Printer with AMS Color System for high-quality prints in classrooms or homes. This printer is known for its advanced features, safety features, and vibrant color options, making it great for printing favorite characters, imaginative objects, or educational tools. PLA filament, often used for 3D printing with the P1S, is a safe, eco-friendly material, especially suitable for kids’ projects.
Note: We have set up an air quality monitor to adjust ventilation as needed. Some PLA filaments, like the shiny one seen below, let off a bit more volatile compounds. Printing in a room that can be ventilated is important. Cracking the window takes care of it!

Our Family’s Experience with 3D Printing:
When we first got our 3D printer, we were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up right out of the box. We were ready to print within no time!
