How To Use Your Christmas Playdough
Create Playdough Ornaments
Add some Christmas theme cookie cutters or small molds in the shape of holiday symbols (stars, bells, angels). Kids can use these tools to create their own playdough ornaments, which can be displayed or hung with a ribbon.
Our cinnamon salt dough recipe is also a fun way for kids to make their own ornaments!
Santa’s Workshop Small World Play
Set up a small world play scene using playdough. Children can create Santa, elves, presents, and other Christmas-themed elements. Encourage imaginative play as they bring the scene to life using their playdough characters.
Make Playdough Wreaths
Flatten the green Christmas playdough and use a round cookie cutter or playdough tools to cut out wreath shapes. Kids can then embellish their playdough wreaths with tiny bows, beads, or other decorative items.
Craft Playdough Grinches
Use the playdough to shape small Grinch characters. Add details like eyes, a mischievous smile, and even tiny Santa hats using red playdough.
Decorate a Playdough Christmas Tree
Provide various decorations such as small pom-poms, beads, and sequins. Let the children roll and shape the playdough into a Christmas tree, and then decorate it with the festive embellishments.
