This witch slime starts with our easy fluffy slime recipe.
Shaving cream gives the slime its light, fluffy texture, while purple food coloring turns it into a colorful witch’s brew.
Supplies
- 1/2 cup white washable school glue
- 3 cups foam shaving cream
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon saline solution
- Purple food coloring
- Bowl
- Spoon
- Optional Halloween mix-ins
Important: Your saline solution should contain sodium borate and/or boric acid for the slime recipe to work.
How to Make Witch’s Brew Slime
STEP 1: Add 3 cups of foam shaving cream to a bowl.
STEP 2: Add purple food coloring and gently mix until you reach the color you want.
You can also use green, orange, or another spooky witch-slime color.
STEP 3: Add 1/2 cup of white washable school glue and gently stir to combine.
STEP 4: Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.
STEP 5: Add 1 tablespoon of saline solution and stir until the slime begins to form and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
STEP 6: Knead the slime with your hands until it reaches your desired consistency.
If your fluffy slime still feels sticky, put a few drops of saline solution on your hands and continue kneading before adding more activator.

Fluffy Slime Tips
Slime too sticky?
Knead it for several minutes before adding more saline solution. A few drops on your hands may be all you need.
Slime too stiff?
Too much activator can make slime rubbery, so add saline solution gradually.
Will fluffy slime stay fluffy?
Not forever. The shaving cream slowly loses air over time, so the slime will become less fluffy even though it can still be played with.
Can I use another color?
Absolutely. Green, orange, black, or even pink can all work for different witch or wizard themes.
How to Store Fluffy Slime
Store your slime in a reusable container with a tight-fitting lid.
💡 Fluffy slime will lose some of its airy texture over time as the shaving cream deflates, but the slime itself can still be fun to use afterward.
