WHO ARE THESE FAMOUS ARTISTS?
ROY LICHTENSTEIN
Roy Lichtenstein was an American pop artist who loved to work in bright colors, lines, and dots. His style resembled comic books.

JACKSON POLLOCK
Jackson Pollock was an American artist who became famous for painting in the abstract expressionist style. Pollock’s paintings were made by dripping and splashing paint onto large canvases.

WASSILY KANDINSKY

CHRISTMAS TREE CARDS
SUPPLIES:
- Christmas Tree Card Templates
- Markers
- Acrylic paint
- Craft Stick
- Scissors
INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: Print the three Christmas tree card templates.
STEP 2: Fold the paper along the dotted lines.
STEP 3: Use scissors to cut each tree out, being careful not to cut the bottom of the tree.
STEP 4: Now design your trees in the styles of Pollock, Kandinsky, and Lichtenstein.
Jackson Pollock Card – Dip a craft stick or popsicle stick into your paint or use a tube of paint, and then splash, splatter, flick, or drip the paint onto the Christmas tree. Repeat with a different color.
TIP: This can get messy, so put some paper underneath to contain the mess!
Leave to dry before moving on to the next step.
Wassily Kandinsky Card – Color in your concentric circles on the Christmas tree card with markers. Use different colors for each ring of the circle.
Roy Lichtenstein Card – Color in the strips and stars with bright-colored markers in a comic style.
STEP 5: When you are finished, write a holiday greeting in your Christmas tree cards!
