CHRISTMAS TREE CRAFT
YOU WILL NEED:
- Popsicle Sticks
- String or Yarn
- Pom Poms
- Decorate String or Ribbon
HOW TO MAKE A CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENT
STEP 1: For each ornament…
Paint 3 Popsicle sticks with green paint and allow them to dry completely.
Note: You may want to complete this part of the activity head of time.
STEP 2: Glue the green Popsicle sticks into a triangle.
STEP 3: Wrap the triangle Popsicle sticks in green string or yarn. Pull it tight as you go. Secure the end with glue.
TIP: For younger children you may want to tie the beginning of the yarn onto one side of the triangle.
STEP 4: Paint a small square of cardboard with brown paint and glue onto the bottom of the tree.
STEP 5: Loop a bit of decorative string or ribbon and glue onto the back of the Christmas tree.
STEP 5: Glue a yellow pom pom to the top of the tree and mini pom poms all over the tree.
Now time to hang your Christmas tree decoration!
