How To Make Popsicle Stick Stars

Kick off the holiday season with a fun handmade Christmas ornament craft! This festive Popsicle stick star is easy to make with just a few simple materials. Get the kids making their own holiday decorations to hang on the tree!

Popsicle Stick Star Ornament Craft

Supplies:

5 green craft sticks
5 red craft sticks
Glue
Ribbon or twine
Optional – mini pom poms, stickers, glitter glue etc for decorating.

Instructions To Make A Popsicle Stick Star

STEP 1: For each ornament… Glue two Popsicle sticks together in the start of a triangle.

STEP 2: Glue a third Popsicle stick so it crosses one of the other first Popsicle sticks.

STEP 3: Glue the fourth Popsicle stick to form the start of another triangle.

STEP 4: Glue the fifth Popsicle stick so the two ends meet. Your star is complete!

STEP 5: Turn the star ornament over and form a loop with a small piece of ribbon or twine. Glue the loop to the back of the star.

Optional: Decorate your popsicle stick star with glitter, stickers etc.

Now you have one cute Popsicle stick star ready to hang on the tree!
