HOW TO MAKE NO FAIL SLIME
Why does slime sometimes fail? The two biggest reasons I have encountered from my readers on slime fails are these…
Double check that you are using the correct ingredients. I get tons of comments saying that so and so made slime with this type of starch or that type of saline, but it wasn’t the correct kind. Liquid starch is not spray starch nor is it cornstarch thinned with water. Saline solution  should have key active ingredients that I mention in the recipe.

Read the whole recipe! Many readers aren’t taking the time to measure properly or follow the steps. Slime making is like baking. Sometimes you have to perfect a recipe and altitude and humidity can always play a small role in the process. On very rare occasions I have gotten a bad batch of glue, and this is a possibility too.

HOW TO MAKE JINGLE BELL SLIME
This will make one batch of either gold or silver slime. Repeat to make a second batch.
STEP 1: Squeeze the small bottle of gold or silver glue into a 1/2 cup measure. Fill the measuring cup the rest of the way with your clear glue. Transfer to bowl.
STEP 2: Add 1/2 cup of water to the glue and stir to combine glues, and water.
STEP 3: Add extra glitter as desired.
STEP 4: Add 1/2 cup of liquid starch to the mixture and stir well. You will see the slime immediately start to form. Keep stirring until you have a gooey blob of slime. The liquid should be gone!
STEP 5. Start kneading your slime! It will appear stringy at first but just work it around with your hands and you will notice the consistency changes. You can also put it in a clean container and set it aside for 3 minutes, and you will also notice the change in consistency!Â
STEP 6: Add the jingle bells and enjoy playing with your slime!

My granddaughter loves to make slime. I am wondering though how the jingle bells add to it. I’m sure they no longer jingle, but do they make the slime more difficult to pull and stretch? She loves to hear the different sounds that different recipes make….how does this compare to others? Thanks for the info! You have great ideas.
