In this coffee filter apple art, the water (solvent) is meant to dissolve the marker ink (solute). For this to happen, the molecules in both the water and the ink must be attracted to each other. - Coffee Filters
- Markers (washable)
- Spray bottle
- Water
- Scissors
- Apple Template

HOW TO MAKE COFFEE FILTER APPLES
STEP 1. Color the coffee filter with markers. Make sure to use several different colors.
Tip: Place the coffee filter on a paper plate to make it easier to color.

STEP 2. Lightly spray the coffee filter with water. Watch the colors blend to form a tie dye look!

STEP 3. Once dry cut the filter into the shape of an apple using our free apple template as an outline.

STEP 4. Cut a larger size apple out of card stock to use as a background.
