Who is Bronwyn Bancroft?
Bronwyn Bancroft is a Bundjalung artist, storyteller, writer, and activist. At the beginning of her career there was almost no inclusion of the work of Indigenous artists in the Australian art and literary world.
During her career, she has been important in helping to share Indigenous art and stories with the entire world through her words, her art, and her care and concern for First Nations people.

Bronwyn Bancroft Ornament
Celebrate an Australian Christmas with our Christmas Around the World activities this year. This is the perfect art project to add for hands-on learning!
SUPPLIES:
- Ornament Template (see below)
- Markers
- Paint
- Cotton swabs
- Toothpicks
- Card stock
- Glue stick
- String
INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: Print the ornament template.
STEP 2: Color the circles on the template with markers.
STEP 3: Now using cotton swabs and toothpicks, add dots and lines, or anything you like, to decorate each ring of the circle differently.
STEP 4: Cut your design out once it’s dry and glue it to a piece of card stock.
STEP 5: Tape your ribbon to the back so you can hang your Bancroft inspired ornament.
