We are a fun science website so we have to have a fun science related Valentine card to go along with it! Last year we did a super simple glow stick Valentine card because glow sticks are science {chemistry} too!
This science Valentine card is really quick to make once you have all your supplies. I really love that we are giving other kids the encouragement to try a super simple chemistry experiment at home with their families.

Valentine’s Day is really the perfect time to explore science with young kids. It’s such a fun, seasonal theme.
LET”S MAKE SCIENCE VALENTINE CARDS!
To put together these simple test tubes for Valentine’s Day favors, you will need our printable pages that you will find below. There are three different pages including the actual cards, simple experiment directions, and mini coloring sheet.
You will also need party favor test tubes and fun confetti. You could alternatively stick in mini glow sticks or mini pens. NOTE: I used 40ml test tubes that you will see below, but you can get whatever size that works for you.

On to the assembly! Cut out all your cards. Then I stacked the three cards together and rolled them to slide into the test tube.
Add a pinch of smiley faces and a pinch of hearts or whatever else you have. You can easily add a mini glow stick or even a mini gel pen for coloring and taking data!
Screw on the cap and you have an awesome science Valentine card with a nifty little chemical reaction experiment tucked inside.
Of course as a true scientist we have to make sure and test out the experiment idea! We love kitchen chemistry and a baking soda and vinegar experiment is always a hit with the kids.
My son is pretty excited to pass these out this year. I hope you will find them easy and enjoyable too.
A terrific printable science card for kids of all ages!
