SUMMER KIDS BRICKS CAMP

It has long been known that kids learn best through play. Hands-on activities where kids can explore and discover on their own provides some awesome learning opportunities!

Kids will use toy bricks to create a wide range of projects that will help them have a hands-on learning experience with science! These STEM activities are great for kids of all ages who love building with bricks!

BRICKS ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS THIS SUMMER

Summer can be a busy time, so we didn’t add any projects that will take a ton of time or prep to make these activities possible. Most of these can be done quickly, with variations, reflection, and questions extending the activity as you have time to do so. However, if you have the time, feel free to linger and enjoy the activities too!

TEACHING KIDS STEM WITH BRICKS

Using bricks is truly the perfect way for kids to look at ordinary items in new ways and invent something different with them. Science doesn’t just come in a box, well today maybe a LEGO® box!

Science is everywhere! You don’t need to purchase a fancy science kit. We love to do STEM activities using simple items from around the house, with inexpensive materials and supplies you may already have on hand!

Building any sort of creation with LEGO® is a little bit about trial and error which actually makes it even more fun. What would we learn if everything always worked perfectly the first time? Not much. Use the building bricks you have available to you to make these fun summer camp projects!

Use bricks to make your very own marble run! Design and build your own creation and then play!
