Physics for kids can be so much fun! While it may sound like a difficult subject reserved for high school students and older, physics is actually incorporated in a lot of ways in our lives from a very young age!

These physics experiments for a whole week of Physics Summer Camp are so much fun! They will teach kids about air pressure, surface tension, buoyancy, and more!

PHYSICS ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS THIS SUMMER

Summer can be a busy time, so we didn’t add any projects that will take a ton of time or prep to make these activities possible. Most of these can be done quickly, with variations, reflection, and questions extending the activity as you have time to do so. However, if you have the time, feel free to linger and enjoy the activities too!

SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS FOR KIDS

Science learning starts early, and you can be a part of that by setting up science at home with everyday materials. Or you can bring easy science experiments to a group of kids in the classroom!

We find a ton of value in cheap science activities and experiments. All our science experiments use inexpensive, everyday materials you can find at home or source from your local dollar store.

You can set up your science experiments as an activity focusing on exploration and discovery. Make sure to ask kids questions at each step, discuss what is happening and talk about the science behind it.
