I’m sure you’re aware scientific activities help promote a sense of inquiry. They answer Why, What, When, Who and How which are some of the words that come naturally to children from an early age. Today I am here to share all about Montessori Science and how you can include it into your learning.
GETTING TO KNOW MONTESSORI SCIENCE:
Dr. Maria Montessori was known for a lot of different things, but one of them was introducing children to Scientific topics like Botany, Astronomy, Physics and Zoology.
The idea is to introduce children to many things and for them to be able to explore the world around them. Science is everywhere and the sooner you can help your kids develop a love for science, the better!
Printed labels and 3 part cards are very important in a Montessori environment. Having visual cards and labels helps build vocabulary and reading skills. If you aren’t a fan of printables you can still enjoy all of these activities in your own way.
